Alasdair Hunter

Alasdair (aka ‘Ally’) graduated from university after studying BSc(Hons) Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation. Throughout this time he garnered four years of clinical experience dealing with multiple forms of MusculoSkeletal injuries as well as helping hundreds of patients of all ages live healthier, happier, pain-free lives.

Ally has been tasked with joining professional football clubs as a Sports Therapist, offering pitch-side first aid and rehabilitation. He has worked with St Johnstone F.C, and is currently with Kilmarnock F.C (he apologises to any Ayr fans!).

Working with top flight football clubs in Scotland with under 10s right through to first team players, has allowed Ally to fine tune his rehabilitation processes right from the first day of injury to the moment a ‘return to sport’ happens.

Ally also has experience in working in a clinical setting having provided services within a private healthcare clinic in Perth.

At CoreHealth Chiropractic Ally provides a bespoke care plan to suit each and every individuals’ needs. His skills include; deep tissue massage, spinal and joint mobilisations, Muscle Energy Technique, PNF, Athletic and Kinesiology taping, Cupping, Electrotherapy (ultrasound, laser therapy, TENS, Interferential and Normatec system) as well as rehabilitation plans in all forms.

In his free time he enjoys going to the gym, running and watching Kilmarnock F.C at the weekend (again apologies to any Ayr fans!). He is a keen traveller with his favourite holiday destination so far being Austria!
