Heather Thomson

“Heather is an amazing practitioner and intuitively knows how to bring relief to aches pains, hormonal, immune, dietary, digestive imbalances and more. Alongside her incredible wealth of intellectual knowledge of naturopathic medicine. We are so lucky to have her in Ayrshire! I highly recommend a cupping, acupuncture and spinal alignment treatment, it will leave you feeling a million dollars.”

“Whatever health issues you’re having, if you believe in solving the core of the problem you will love Heather’s approach! I can’t thank Heather enough for her time, energy and of course finding a natural solution to our problem and creating the medicine herself. It makes me feel so happy knowing that there is someone who understands and practices this medicine with so much passion. We can’t thank you enough!”

RG, Troon.

Heather Thomson has been immersed in the field of natural health for over 10 years.

She first qualified and worked as a Registered Holistic Nutritionist before embarking on a four-year, full-time post-graduate training program, graduating as a Naturopathic Doctor (N.D.) in 2017.

Originally from Canada, she moved to the west coast of Scotland in 2018 and has had the privilege of living and working here ever since. She is one of only two Naturopathic Doctors in the country.

Heather uses a combination of techniques and treatment tools in her practice, including nutrition, functional lab testing, herbal medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine acupuncture and cupping, homeopathy, spinal adjustments and visceral manipulation. She loves how her training has given her the knowledge to build incredibly individualized treatment plans – because we are just as different on the inside as we are on the outside. She has a special focus on digestion, stress and burnout, and skin concerns.

Heather is a member of the Association of Naturopathic Practitioners and is registered with the General Naturopathic Council.
